Appointment Book

If you would like to make an appointment please call 01933 412666 and take the relevant option.

Please remember that when making an appointment the GP or Nurse will only have time to deal with one problem. If you have more than 1 problem you will need to make more than 1 appointment.

Please note that as we are a training Practice you may be asked to have your appointment with a Medical student under the supervision of a GP Trainer. If you do not wish to do this please tell the reception staff and they will make you the appropriate appointment.

You can use the online service to make book an appointment (appointments are subject to availability).  This service is available to patients who have registered for the online service.

To register  for this service please go to Internet services and complete the form.

You will then be able to access our online services. Please note that if you repeatedly fail to attend appointments that you have booked online you will have your access to this service withdrawn.

Please note that when contacting the practice to arrange an appointment that while we will try to accommodate a request to see a specific clinician that this is not always possible. Should you wish to see a specific Clinician you may have to wait for an appointment.

Failure to keep appointments.

Failure to keep appointments is a WASTE of NHS resources. If you do not cancel an appointment you not only waste the clinicians time but you deny it to other patients needing care.

if you fail to keep 3 appointments within a 6 month period you may be removed from the Practice list.

The Practice operates an appointment reminder service (age restrictions apply). If you would like to make use of it please give your mobile phone number to our reception staff so that it can be added to your registration details. Once we know your mobile number an automated text message will be sent to your mobile reminding you of the date and time. If you wish to opt out of this service please let us know.

If you can not attend an appointment please cancel it as soon as you can.

Hospital appointments

As of the 3rd April 2006 the Practice will no longer arrange transport for hospital and other secondary care appointments. This service has now been transferred to a central office. Patients will need to call a Patient Care Advisor on 01536 315201 (Monday-Friday 8.30am 4.30pm) to arrange their own transport.

Extended Hours appointments

From the 14th April 2008 the Practice will be extending it's opening times on 2 evenings per week and on Saturday mornings. These will be for pre-booked routine appointments only. If you require a home visit or urgent medical attention you should contact the out of hours provider and not the practice. For a fuller explanation of the arrangements click on this link Extended hours letter.pdf

The extended appointments will be available on Monday and Thursday evenings & Saturday Mornings between 8.00am and 10.45am.
